Told Ya!

Remember a few weeks ago when Jericho's speech and communication was observed by a lady from EDIS? Remember that she said not to be surprised if he just wakes up one day and "explodes" with words? Well, that day has come! We've been singing more, reading more, and repeating certain words more, and it has really helped! Of course, he's not talking so plainly that you know exactly what he's saying, but if I say, "up," he'll say "down!" When I point to a picture of Michael, he'll say, "Dad!" And when I say, "open," he'll say, "close!" He's also learning to follow directions, like "close the door," "sit down," and "turn off the light." He's coming right along!


Now if I could just get him to tell me where he put the tv remote...
