We are so excited today! A few members of the Sesame Street gang are coming to Vicenza for a performance in the gym as part of the Sesame Street USO Tour. I don't know how the gym is going to hold all the kiddos from Caserma Ederle, but I know Jericho will get a kick out of seeing Cookie Monster and Elmo. It's amazing how much support military families get - especially children - and it feels good. To see a smile on my child's face, knowing what we're about to go through in a couple of months, is sweet relief for me. He absolutely adores his daddy, and to get to experience something that makes him happy with all three of us together is priceless. We're hoping to get there a little early and get a good seat, and I will definitely take the camera (with the memory card this time) and try to get some good pictures. I'm hoping Jericho will get to meet the crew from his favorite tv show!
