Seems like a lot of people I know are having babies or pregnant these days, and the other day it got me thinking....for those of us with young children, do you ever wonder what their adult life will be like? What kinds of technology they'll have available, what childhood staples we had growing up will be a thing of the past by the time they're in their twenties? What will school be like? Will they even have the Internet? Will they be enticed by drugs and cigarettes, or have we not yet met their generation's bad guys?
What do you worry about when it comes to your childrens' future?
I think about this often. I am afraid it's not going to be a good situation.. The scene from the Lion King after Mufasa dies and Scar takes over and everything is black or on fire is what goes through my mind. Poor kids...
ReplyDeleteI wonder what their lives will be, more in a curiosity fashion. I have also worried over raising two girls and a desire to keep them as children, not over sexed wanna be grown, girls.
