Thanksgiving this year was good, but bittersweet. It was Jericho's first, and Michael missed it. He missed his son's first taste of turkey, stuffing and cranberry sauce, all of which went over very well. He missed a good time with our friend Andrew, who hosted this year and thoughtfully invited Jericho and me to join him, his son Sean and another couple of friends. Jericho did so well; Andrew has a large living room and kitchen area with nothing on the floor, so the baby got lots of exercise and Andrew got a dust-free floor thanks to all the crawling. I think my next invention is going to be baby onesies made of Swiffer cloths!
The only thing I regret is that I didn't take any pictures. I remembered to take the camera, so that's a step, but I guess I was so distracted with Jericho that it slipped my mind to snap a picture or two. I wish I'd gotten at least one of him eating turkey for the first time. I will not make that mistake at Christmas! We'll be spending Christmas in either London or Ireland, pending RyanAir's flight schedules, so there will definitely be more pictures coming soon.
