Sometimes Jericho and I like to listen to the radio while we eat lunch. Today, we were listening to "old country" and someone requested my most favorite country song, since I was a child. This song reminds me of weekends at my dad's, spending Saturday afternoons at the barn with country music blaring while we cleaned out the horse stalls. Taking my little radio out on the trails with me when we went out riding.
Merle Haggard is on tour right now, and he's making a stop at Ft. Sill with Miranda Lambert and another opening act. Maybe I'll take my iPod and sit out back, making up my own little concert.
